Iliyan Petkov, the artist behind iliyanfineart.com, is a professional fine artist, graduated from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia. He started his career as an industrial designer, but finds his passion in drawing and painting. He works with a vast spectrum of art media, including oil and acrylic paint, charcoal, pastel, and ink. He has been bringing personalities to life in his portraits for more than twenty years. In the States, he has worked on mural projects, painting commissions, participated in Plein Air Competitions, and teaching art classes. Iliyan lives and operates in the greater Chicago area.
